Ancient Teaching Sacred Living
“The peace within becomes the harmony without.”
—Chad Ehlers
How do we learn to thrive in these changing times?
Remembering the ancient medicine to heal ourselves, our communities, and our planet gives us practical ways to flourish in our daily lives. Through shamanic journey and ceremony, we will experience earth-centered, spirit-connected practices. Feeling in alignment with the spirit of heaven & earth is our goal. Just like the moon & the sun live in harmony in the heavens, we can be a reflection of that harmony here on earth.
Join us in Circle and strengthen your connection to Spirit, deepen your capacity for compassion, find your own guidance and answers, experience connection in community, and live within the earth’s sacred balance.

Healing Sessions |
Session Description: The shamanic healing experience is a collaboration between the helping and compassionate spirits in the unseen world and the shamanic practitioner. These experiences address the spiritual aspects of your unique life situation. Shamanic healing can help you connect to your own inner strength and power. This opens opportunities for you to see clearly through obstacles, move forward in your life, relate in healthy ways to others, and feel connected to all life. Each session is individualized based on your specific needs.
Session Time: Healing sessions are typically 90 minutes to 2 1/2 hours either locally in my office or long-distance via interaction over the phone.
Session Fees: In our initial conversation via email, I will give you an overview of how I work, the shamanic methods that may be used, and the associated fees. Payment through PayPal is accepted from long distance clients.

Shamanic Healing |
While shamanic healing methods are ancient and cross cultural, our present day & complex life situations are an easy match. Shamanic healing is a very efficient & effective method of getting to the heart of the matter.
Shaman is the Siberian word for spiritual healer. Historically, communities across Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and North and South America looked to shamans for healing and guidance in their individual lives and for the greater good of the community. Today, there is a revival of interest in the modern world for this type of healing and guidance.
Here in the USA, it is relatively new notion that in addition to the physical aspect of traumatic and complex life experiences we need something or somebody to address the spiritual and emotional aspects that we are left with after the ‘dust settles’. Shamanic healing includes a variety of methods that by themselves and in combination have the potential of unwinding and deconstructing life patterns that keep us from being fully present to our life experiences. My personal experience, as well as what I observe in clients, is that there is more room and less interference, more of ourselves, and more choices that can actually be seen and made. People can live bigger lives.
Glossary
Soul Retrieval: Ordinary and extraordinary life experiences can leave us feeling like “I have never been the same since”… this “loss” occurs through a traumatic experience such as an accident, loss of a loved one, a physical assault, or lifethreatening illness. In Shamanism this is called “soul loss”. Soul retrieval is the process for restoring this lost soul essence.
Extraction: Have you had the experience of someone yelling at you, or a driver on the road who “threw” some words or gestures at you in a way that it feels like you have been hit with a dart? That is an example of “negative thought forms”. I love the way it was described in the film, “Ghost busters”: “I’ve been slimed”. When the feeling does not go away the energy of it has the sensation of staying with us. The word “extraction” here refers to the traditional shamanic method of removing these “intrusions”.
Psycho-Pomp: A complicated looking word that means helping the spirit of someone who has died cross over.
Energy Clearing: The words “energy clearing” describe what is done with the various sorts of energy we experience throughout our lives that we feel affected by and seem to “stick”. The house that feels odd or creepy…the sense that someone or something is near us but we can’t see it and it doesn’t go away. This is very similar to extraction.
Healing With Spiritual Light: This is a practice of remembering who and what we really are. We are Light and Love in a physical body. By remembering, connecting and aligning with who and what we really are, we affect everything that is near us, and in fact anything we put our attention to no matter the distance. Entrainment means that whatever is the higher frequency, the lower frequency will raise itself to meet that higher frequency. This is a principle of spiritual healing. While not exclusive to Shamanic healing, it is a method used by many contemporary shamanic practitioners to promote healing in individuals as well as on behalf of all life.

About Hannah |
Spiritual practice is an integrated part of my daily life. Throughout my nearly 40 years of meditation practice, the deepest experiences allow me to sit in emptiness—in quiet connection to spirit. When I began to journey, in the shamanic way, I found it was more like remembering than learning something new. My connection to the unseen world helped me become clear about things I had been sensitive to my entire life.
My experience in shamanic healing is a continuation of my training in energy medicine as I practiced Chinese Medicine and Nutritional Therapeutics for 23 years. I have found the shamanic work to be a perfect match to the healing that is needed in today’s world as it has been throughout time. My 10 years in shamanic healing has evolved in a wonderful way.
I have been fortunate to train with extraordinary teachers including Sandra Ingerman, Betsy Bergstrom, and others. Through the Foundation of Shamanic Studies, I completed the 3 year training in Advanced Shamanic Studies. This training gave me an excellent foundation in shamanic practice. I have also completed specific training in soul retrieval, shamanic extraction, healing with spiritual light, psychopomp, as well as other shamanic methodologies. I completed the 2 year teacher training with Sandra Ingerman.
TESTIMONIALS
Hannah is a wonderful healer and shamanic practitioner. She facilitates dramatic and lasting results!
— Marian A. Shirin, Santa Fe, NM
Hannah’s very straightforward approach to shamanic work is refreshing and immediately inspired my trust. I have been a practitioner in similar dedication and work for 20 years, and rarely find others that “meet” me in the same way that she has. I am grateful for her work and the subsequent healing and discoveries it has helped me to embody.
— Celia, Santa Fe, NM
My sessions with Hannah gave me much more than I expected. On the one hand, I was looking for insights into habits I couldn’t break, or other negative, recurring patterns in my life. Instead, those patterns either evaporated, or I discovered a fundamental switch point in my belief system that allowed me to make life decisions more consciously.
On the other hand, Hannah’s matter-of-fact ease in moving among the mundane and ‘unseen’ worlds gave me a practical model for integrating my own sense of spirituality. Today, from working with her, I am more congruent in my inner and outer life than I ever would have hoped.

Welcome |
HomeJourney Medicine™ is dedicated to a life where we are deeply connected to spirit, ourselves, and all life. This means we have more of ourselves, can see more possibilities, and have the ability to make new choices in everyday life.
Living in a more congruent and harmonious way with nature and all life enables us to live fully and completely the life we choose. This is the essence of shamanic practice and healing.
Through my own life experience, I know that healing is both available and possible. What is needed is to show up and take a seat in our own life, to be open to healing practices that match our stage of life, and to engage in a collaborative way to facilitate our own healing.
